The product is a compound preparation, containing sodium chloride 0.85%, potassium chloride 0.03% and Calcium chloride 0.033%.
Character The product is a colorless clear liquid, with slight salt flavor.
Indications
(1) It is indicated for dehydration caused by all kinds of cases, including hypoosmolality, isotonia and hypertonicity; (2) indicated for the coma caused by hypertonicity non-ketosis diabetes as the administration of isotonia and hypoosmolality sodium chloride can correct the dehydration and hyperosmotic state;(3) it is also indicated for low-chloride metabolic alkali poisoning.
When the product is used to treat the patients who need to supplement the body liquid, for not taking food or taking less food, sodium chloride and ringers solution can be administered. But for the patients with hypo-potassium other medicine should be administered for the low concentration of the product.
